• What type and size of display screen should I select ?

Answer = The display screen maybe the most important feature that determines your satisfaction with the Fish finder. When selecting a Fish finder the display screen should have excellent screen resolution and must have good visability in all lighting conditions. A monochrome LCD screen will be easiest to read in direct sunlight; color LCD screens must be choosen with care, many can be difficult to view in direct sunlight.

• What is the difference between single frequency and dual frequency Fish finders ?

Answer = Dual frequency means the Fish finder transponder sends out both a 50 KHz and a 200 KHz sonar signal. Single frequency means only a 200 KHz signal is sent out.
